Executive Leadership

Bryan Kaye

Chief Executive Officer

Bryan Kaye, PhD, is the CEO and co-founder of CrossnoKaye, an industrial control system and AI software company. CrossnoKaye and its solutions grew out of Bryan’s lifelong fascination with simplifying and optimizing complex systems, a passion that previously led him to study physics.

After obtaining his PhD from Harvard, Bryan sought to apply physics-based machine learning and AI to physical systems in heavy industries, a sector that historically lacked the infrastructure needed for software solutions. Thus, ATLAS was born – the only control system built on modern architecture to allow the deployment of applications at scale..

While Bryan’s main passion is CrossnoKaye and bringing AI into heavy industries, he is also an enthusiastic musician. He’s played drums in many bands, including Nekrogoblikon, arguably the world’s foremost goblin-themed melodic death-metal band.

Jesse Crossno

Chief Product Officer

Jesse Crossno, PhD, is the co-founder and Chief Product Officer at CrossnoKaye, where he works to deploy AI and advanced process control to solve highly technical, complex real-world problems in heavy industries. Jesse discovered his passion for problem-solving within complex systems as an undergraduate, studying physics and computer science. He then obtained his PhD in Applied Physics from Harvard University, where he conducted research in collaboration with DARPA and Raytheon Technologies.

Jesse, along with co-founder Bryan Kaye, was inspired to start CrossnoKaye by a drive to transform heavy industry’s efficiency and output at scale. Jesse leads the product and science teams, integrating physics-based machine learning, AI, and predictive analytics into ATLAS for the highest standards of reliability, safety, performance, and control.

He also served seven years in the United States Air Force, reaching the rank of Captain. At his core, Erik is an engineer by both trade and by training, holding a professional engineer license for over two decades. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering as well as a Masters in Environmental Engineering Systems Design, both from Johns Hopkins. He additionally earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

When he’s not working, Erik enjoys traveling and hiking with his wife, two kids, and their dog, Winston.
